DCI’s Lash Technician course provides essential training and techniques for licensed Estheticians and Cosmetologists on the safe application of classic lash extensions.
The first day of class will focus on classic lash application theory, safety, application design techniques and best practices. The second day of class will consist of hands-on practice on an actual client model.
NOTE: Students are required to bring a colleague, friend, or family member as their model for hands-on practice of lash application on day two of class. DCI will not be providing models. Students attending day two of the class without a model will not be permitted to participate.

LASH TECHNICIAN COURSE OBJECTIVES
The course includes both the theory of lash application as well as hand-on practice including:

- Best Practices for Consultation
- Lash Preparation and Cleansing
- Gel Pad and Tape Techniques
- Tweezer Best Practices
- Adhesive Application
- Setting Up Lash Palettes, Nanomisting, and Curing
- Lash Design, Eye Shaping, and Mapping
- Lash Applications Including Isolate, Pick-up, Dip, and Placement Best Practices
- Lash Re-fills
- Lash Removal
- Lash Extension Business Practices Including Pricing and Inventory
- Building Clientele, Marketing, and Social Media Best Practices
- Course Requirements
Students must have an active, valid state Esthetician or Cosmetologist License.
Students must bring a client model for hands-on practice on day 2 of class.
Payment is due in full prior to class.
Continuing education courses are excluded from accreditation with the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC), and licensing from the Delaware Department of Education.

- Course Materials/Requirements
A pre-course study guide will be provided and must be completed prior to the first day of class.
All lash application materials will be provided at the time the training is conducted.
- Certification
Once a student has completed this course, they will receive an official Borboleta Lash Technician certification.
