Estheticians perform a variety of techniques to maintain or improve the appearance of healthy skin. DCI's philosophy on skin care embraces a blend of both European therapies and medical treatments designed to enhance the skin's natural beauty. Utilizing a hands-on approach to training, our students develop a working knowledge of a wide array of products designed to rejuvenate the skin while receiving practical technical and retail experience working in the New Beginnings Spa, a fully functioning salon setting.

Most Estheticians work in spas and salons. There are also job opportunities in fitness clubs, resorts, physicians’ offices and dermatologists' offices. Many Estheticians also elect to become self-employed.
