Many estheticians work at personal care services establishments. There are also some advanced esthetics positions available at physicians’ offices, dermatologists’ offices, wellness centers, and health and personal care stores.
The first step toward your advanced esthetics career is applying to the Dawn Career Institute Advanced Esthetician program. With the 36-week day format diploma program focusing on comprehensive skin care training you can gain valuable skills and prepare for your career.
If you are considering enrolling in a beauty school in Newark, DE, our specialized esthetician courses include the following equipment:

Upon graduation, students receive an “AE State Board Kit” that includes everything they need to take their DE State Board Practical Exam (includes the Spatula, Eyebrow tweezers & Scissors, Mixing Bowls, Mannequin Head and table attachment tools, and more.
I am working one day a week at a dermatologist’s office in Philly, and three days at Hand & Stone. I love both jobs and the people I work for!

Additional Information
Graduates of DCI’s Advanced Esthetician program are eligible to apply to take:
DE State Aesthetician License, through the State of Delaware, Division of Professional Regulation
PA State Esthetician License, through the Pennsylvania State Board of Cosmetology
MD State Esthetician License, through the Maryland State Board of Cosmetologists
NJ State Esthetician License, through the New Jersey State Board of Cosmetology and Hairstyling
The cost of the first attempt for the licensing exams listed above is included as part of the tuition for the DCI AE program. In the event the first attempt is not successful, the cost for any additional attempts is the responsibility of the graduate. Graduates may be eligible to apply for licensing in additional states. Licensing requirements vary by state. Contact your state Esthetician or Cosmetology licensing board for more information.
