Course Description

DCI’s Master Brow Styling Certification course provides students with the professional skills and knowledge required to safely and effectively perform eyebrow waxing, tinting, and brow styling. Students will learn to analyze the structure of the face and eyes to create flattering brow shapes, fill in sparse brows, and enhance natural features. Emphasis is placed on industry standards for client care, sanitation, and professionalism, ensuring students are prepared to deliver exceptional results in a safe and hygienic environment. The course includes both the theory of Brow styling as well as hands-on practice including:

• Anatomy of the Brow: Hair Growth Cycles and Skin Structure
• Brow Mapping and Shaping Techniques
• Waxing Theory: Hard vs. Soft Wax
• Tinting: Color Theory, Mixing, and Application
• Precise Brow Shaping and Waxing Techniques
• Master Brow Tinting for a Flawless Look
• Insider Tips for Client Retention and Marketing Your New Services

The Master Brow Styling Certification course also includes:

• Waxing kit essentials
• Tinting starter kit
• Course workbook and certification

This course is designed to equip students with the professional skills and knowledge needed to perform precise eyebrow waxing, tinting, and styling with confidence and artistry. Through a combination of theory and hands-on practice, students will learn facial analysis, brow mapping, shaping, and color application techniques to create flattering, customized looks for every client. Emphasis is placed on understanding hair growth cycles, skin structure, proper waxing methods, and safe tinting procedures, all while maintaining the highest standards of sanitation and professionalism. The course also covers practical business insights, including client retention strategies and effective marketing techniques to help students successfully promote their new services.

NOTE: Students are required to bring a colleague, friend, or family member as their model for hands-on practice to the class. DCI will not be providing models. Students attending the class without a model will not be permitted to participate.

Course Requirements

Students must have an active, valid state Esthetician,  Cosmetologist, or Barber License.

Continuing education courses are excluded from accreditation with the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC), and licensing from the Delaware Department of Education.

Refund Policy

No refunds will be given for non-credit courses. If a course is cancelled by Dawn Career Institute, students have an option of enrolling in the next available course or receiving a full refund.
